AWE updates E. Java basin activities

The following is an excerpt from Australian Worldwide Exploration Ltd (AWE) on East Java basin projects, taken from the Sept. 30, 2009 quarterly report published Friday. (ed)
East Java Basin
The 3D seismic survey in the eastern portion of the Bulu PSC and in the newly acquired Terumbu PSC has been interpreted and numerous reefs have been mapped within the grid. At least one well (Liyun-1) is planned within the Bulu PSC (AWE 42.5%), with drilling currently scheduled for the March quarter of 2010.
Furthermore, numerous other targets have been identified in the acreage, with additional drilling under consideration by AWE?s various joint ventures in the East Java Basin.
The 1,200 kilometre 2D seismic survey was completed in the East Muriah PSC (AWE 50%) during the quarter. (end of excerpt)
