Badak: Bontang plant delivers 30 cargoes of LNG

PT Badak NGL, the operator of the Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan, has thus far delivered 30 of the 152 cargoes of LNG it plans to produce throughout the year, according to an official of the firm.

?This year we are targeting to produce as much as 152 cargoes of LNG. Until now a total of 30 cargoes have been delivered to traditional buyers such as Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, including to domestic buyer, namely NR (FSRU Nusantara Regas in West Java), as many as 2-3 cargoes," President Director of Badak, Salis Aprilian said in Jakarta.

Last year, according to Salis, realized production reached 185 cargoes, from the target of 176 cargoes, thanks to an increase in gas supply from Total's Mahakam block.
