Badak, Indominco investigate possibility to use LNG to fuel equipments

East Kalimantan LNG producer PT Badak NGL has signed last week an MoU with East Kalimantan coal miner PT Indominco Mandiri over the possibility of using LNG to fuel the latter?s heavy equipments using converter kit.

Badak NGL President Hanung Budya said that if successful, the converter kit will substantially reducing Indominco?s diesel oil requirement.

Indominco is a unit of Thai energy conglomerate Banpu PCL. (bernard)
