Despite the weak oil and gas environment, PT Badak NGL, which operates the Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan, managed to deliver solid sales performance last year.

Badak NGL President Director and CEO Salis Aprilian said to Petromindo.com that the company sold 189 standard cargoes, or 10.6 million tons, of LNG last year, 11.17 percent higher than the initial target of 170 cargoes.

Salis said this year the company plans to sell 147 cargoes (8.3 million tons) of LNG this year. It has allocated US$200 million for capital expenditure and operational expenditure this year.

This portal reported earlier that the Bontang LNG plant will produce 148 cargoes of LNG and 7 cargoes of LPG this year.
