Badak NGL offers LNG to mining firms

PT Badak NGL, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina, is offering LNG to mining companies to fuel their site operation vehicles, a move that could save the usage of oil-based fuels.
?We are offering LNG to the mining firms, which are currently consuming huge volume of oil-based fuels especially diesel fuel. It could save a lot of oil-based fuels,? President Director Nanang Untung told petromindo.com.
Nanang ascertains that LNG as fuel is cleaner and more economical compared to diesel fuel, while also being more environmentally friendly.
Badak NGL is also preparing 5 mmscfd for subsidiary mining producer PT Indo Mega Tambangraya to reduce its use of diesel fuel.
