Badak NGL urged to follow court ruling

PT Badak NGL, operator of the Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan, must pay financial compensation worth US$6.38 million to IDX-listed aviation services company PT Indonesia Transport and Infrastructure Tbk following a recent court ruling, Sindonews.com reported on Thursday.
The news portal quoted Indonesia Transport lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea as saying that Badak NGL has no other option than to pay the penalty after the Central Jakarta District Court last month approved a November 2016 ruling of the Indonesia Arbitrage National Agency (or BANI), which ruled in favor of Transport Indonesia in a case against Badak. The portal did not say what the case was.
?There?s no other option for Badak than to pay. PT Badak must honor the court ruling,? Hotman told Sindonews. (*)
