Badak to ship LPG cargo mid-July

East Kalimantan LNG producer PT Badak NGL, popularly known as Bontang LNG is scheduled to shipthe first cargo of liqufied petroleum gas (LPG) in the third week of July after tha plant restarted LPG production.

President Director Agus Haryanto told Petromindo.Com on Friday that Badak NGL will ship 80,000 tonnes of LPG and is currently waiting for vessel nomination from appointed seller state oil and gas company PT Pertamina. Pertamina said earlier it would also act as offtaker to meet increasing domestic demand.

?Pertamina will buy LPG from Bontang as long as the price is right,? Pertamina Senior VP Sales and marketing said.

Badak NGL restarted LPG production on June 15 after being shut-down for several years due to lack of gas feed. (godang)
