BAI: Qualification of EPC for smelter-grade alumina refinery, Mempawah, W. Kalimantan

PT BORNEO ALUMINA INDONESIA

Project Name: Qualification of Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPC) of 1,000,000 Tpa (Expandable) Smelter Grade Alumina Refinery (SGAR) Project.
Location: Mempawah - West Kalimantan, Indonesia

 

Requirements of Qualification

1. The Bidder shall be a registered legitimate operating independent corporation whose business license shall expressly indicate such information and shall have a taxation registration certificate and organization code certificate;

2. The Bidder shall have a good reputation in bank credit and business, and have never been ordered to cease operation and to have its property taken over or frozen proved by company credit rating report carried out by an independent auditor;

3. The Bidder is not in a bankrupt or restructured condition proved by official statement;

4. The Bidder must be an EPC company, acknowledged domestically and internationally arid has annual revenue of over USD 800 million in recent 3 (three) years and has experience of more than 3 (three) years in EPC work;

5. The Bidder has been successful in working at EPC contractor for implementing at least 2 (two) similar EPC contract projects in recent 10 (ten) years;

6. The Bidder must have experience of executing at least 1 (one) smelter grade alumina refinery projects using Bayer Process as an EPC contractor, in recent 10 (ten) years;

7. The Bidder must have experience of executing at least 1 (one) smelter grade alumina refinery project out site original country using Bayer Process as an EPC contractor, in recent 10 (ten) years;

8. If the Bidder is foreign company (outside of Indonesia), the Bidder shall have a commitment to form joint venture or consortium with an Indonesia EPC Contractor that has annual revenue of over USO 800 million in recent 3 (three) years and has experience of more than 3 (three) years.

 

Qualification Document must be received by the Owner in form of softcopy and hardcopy not later than March 01st, 2019.
