Baihaki ensures Tugu Pratama management reshuffle to be transparent

President of the state oil and gas firm Pertamina Baihaki Hakim assured legislators on Thursday that the management reshuffle of subsidiary insurance firm PT Tugu Pratama would be conducted in a transparent way.
Baihaki told Bisnis Indonesia daily as saying that the new management team would be selected through a fit and proper test conducted by Bank Indonesia.
Bank Indonesia, the central bank, has conducted fit and proper test for the country's existing bankers in order to avoid corruption and breached of banking rulings as in the past. Bankers who don't pass the test could not lead a bank. The test is based on the past track record of the bankers.
Baihaki has temporarily suspended the top management team of Tugu Pratama because it's not performing well as they failed to work as a team and tended to fight each other.
The poor performance has hit Tugu Pratama's bottom line.(*)
