Baihaki installs new Pertamina deputies

President of oil and gas firm Pertamina Baihaki Hakim installed on Thursday five new deputies as part of the overall restructuring at the country's largest state-owned company.
The new deputies include Eteng A. Sallam as deputy director for the directorate of upstream operation, Afyhab (one name) as deputy director for processing, Muchsin Bahar as deputy director for marketing and commerce, Ibrahim Hasyim as deputy director for shipping, Brig. Gen (Ret )Sartono as head of internal audit, and Poernama as head of the corporate service.
Earlier on Wednesday, President Abdurrahman Wahid issued a decree to appoint the new board of directors of Pertamina.
In the new lineup, Baihaki remains the company's president. Other old faces in the new lineup include Gatot K. Wiroyudo as the head of the directorate of upstream, which is formerly known as the directorate of exploration and production, Ariffi Nawawi as director of downstream, and Ainun Naim as financial director.
New faces include Effendi Situmorang as director of development, and Iin Arifin Takhyan as director for the management of production sharing contractors.(godang/epin)
