Bakrie Group eyes Sengkang gas pipeline

PT Prodigy Energy Resouces, part of the Bakrie Group, has officially offered the South Sulawesi provincial administration to build a pipeline network from the Sengkang gas field to major industries in the province?s capital of Makassar, Kompas reported on Saturday.
The plan to build a 254-km pipeline which would supply gas from the Sengkang gas field in Wajo regency to major industries in Makassar was presented during a meeting with South Sulawesi governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo and executives of major industries in the city on Wednesday.
Prodigy?s President Director MA Sudjono said that no agreements had been reached during the meeting. (*)
