Balikpapan administration to grant permits soon to Vico

Balikpapan regional administration expects to issue permits in November for PT Vico Indonesia to start carrying out CBM exploration activities in its area.
?We are still processing the permits now. I expect the permit to be issued later this month,? Balikpapan Mayor H.M. Rizal Effendi told petromindo.com in Balikpapan on Wednesday.
Rizal added that the permit would pave the way for at least 3 years of CBM exploration activities in his area. ?We expect the activities to be successful, which should later be followed by production stage.?
Vico Indonesia is currently waiting for the granting of permits to carry out exploration in 3 CBM blocks in Lamaru district, namely CBM Lamaru 1, CBM Lamaru 2, and CBM Bajau Water.
