Balikpapan I refinery to undergo turnaround next June: Pertamina

State oil and gas firm Pertamina will overhaul its Balikpapan I refinery in East Kalimantan next June, a company official told Petromindo.Com Thursday.
The refinery has capacity to process 60,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil.
The overhaul was scheduled to start in early June next year, said Dwi Kushartoyo, Pertamina?s acting deputy director in charge of crude processing. He did not say however how long the overhaul work will last.
Pertamina also operates Balikpapan II refinery, which underwent nearly three months of turnaround in March of this year. The plant is located near Balikpapan I, having capacity to distill 220,000 bpd of crude. (godang)
