Balikpapan refinery delivers first Pertalite output

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) has delivered the first production of Pertalite gasoline from the Balikpapan refinery in East Kalimantan.
The shipment of the Pertalite production was officially carried out in a ceremony at the refinery on Monday, March 14, Pertamina said in a statement. The gasoline was carried by Mt Nur Saly II to Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, the firm said in a statement.
Pertalite is a new type of gasoline recently introduced by Pertamina as an alternative to Premium and Pertamax. Pertalite has a RON of 90, while Premium and Pertamax has a Ron of 88 and 92.
