Balongan expected to run at full capacity next week

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina expects its Balongan refinery in Indramayu, West Java to resume full capacity next week.
"Repair works at residue catalytic cracking (RCC) unit has been completed," Pertamina deputy Dwi Kushartoyo told Petromindo.Com on Thursday, adding that the refinery was currently running at 65 percent of its capacity.
On Jan. 21, Balongan?s production dropped by 60 percent following damage at its RCC unit.
According to Dwi, the Balongan has also resumed its fuel products and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production.
Balongan refinery, which has a capacity of 125,000 barrels per day, supplies 30 percent of the country?s fuel demands, particularly in Jakarta, West Java and Banten.(godang)
