State oil and gas company Pertamina said it had re-stared its Balongan refinery in West Java after being closed for electricity fault in its distillation unit last week, a company official said.
The 125,000 barrel-a-day refinery is running at 60 percent of capacity today and should be back to full production within two days, the company's processing director, Suroso Atmomartoyo, said Monday.
Suroso said that the shut down did not affect fuel supply as the company had adequate supply of fuel and LPG to supply Western part of Java.(godang)
