Balongan refinery runs at half capacity

State owned oil, gas firm PT Pertamina shut down Wednesday morning a Residue Catalytic Cracking (RCC) processing unit at its Balongan oil refinery in West Java due to ?technical problems?, a company official said.
Processing Director Rukmi Hadihartini said that the RCC has a refining capacity of 63,000 barrels a day. She said the unit is expected to start-up on Thursday.
She did not give further details.
Balongan has a combined processing capacity of 125,000 BPD of crude oil and produces various fuels such as Pertamax Plus, Pertamina Dex, unleaded gasoline and LPG.(godang)
