Balongan?s turnaround scheduled for November

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina announced plans to shut down the Balongan Blue Sky refinery unit in West Java for maintenance in November.

The turnaround is scheduled to start on Nov. 7, the firm said in a press statement obtained Monday, adding that the turnaround is aimed to maintain the quality of environmentally-friendly oil fuels produced from the refinery unit.

It did not however specify when the turnaround will be completed.

The Balongan Blue Sky refinery unit consist of Naphta Hydrotreater (NHT), Platformer and Penex. It was built to support the government?s environmental program by producing lead-free fuels.
