Balongan to resume full ops Thursday

State oil and gas company PT.Pertamina will resume full operations of Balongan refinery in Indramayu, West Java on Thursday, CEO Ari H. Soemarno said on Wednesday.

Ari said the refinery?s units had been started up and full operations is expected to be reached on Christmas.

Balongan underwent scheduled shut down since October 2008. Balongan has a combined capacity of processing 125,000 BPD of crude oil and produces various fuels such as Pertamax Plus, Pertamina Dex, unleaded gasoline and LPG. The refinery accounts for about 10 percent of Pertamina's refining capacity. (godang)
