Bank Mandiri infrastructure loans rise 30.8% to Rp491.6 trillion

State lender PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (IDX: BMRI) reported infrastructure loans of Rp491.63 trillion (US$28.9 billion) as of February 2026, up 30.8% year-on-year.
President Director Riduan said the growth reflects the bank’s role in supporting national infrastructure development across sectors including transport, energy, housing, and telecommunications.
The transport sector contributed the largest share at Rp118.03 trillion ($6.9 billion), followed by infrastructure construction, which recorded the fastest growth, rising 178.2% to Rp85.84 trillion ($5.05 billion).

Loans for road projects reached Rp54.84 trillion ($3.23 billion), while the telematics sector accounted for Rp44.34 trillion ($2.61 billion).
Riduan said infrastructure financing remains a key driver of economic growth, supporting connectivity and expanding business opportunities.
The bank expects continued growth in the sector, supported by ongoing national strategic projects and financing schemes including syndicated and sustainable funding.
