Banpu completes Indominco acquisition

Thai energy conglomerate Banpu PLC on Thursday reported that it had completed aacquistion of 35 percent stake in East Kalimantan coal miner PT. Indomico Mandiri for US$ 10.5 million from cement maker PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa.
With the completion, Banpu now holds 100 percent stake in Indominco Mandiri, which has production capacity of around 3.5 million tons per year. (robert)
