Banpu, Indonesia Power to conduct FS to build power plant in Jambi

Thai energy conglomerate Banpu PLC. is planning to conduct a feasibility study together with PT Indonesia Power, a unit of state electricity firm PLN about possibility to construct 2x65 MW mine mouth power plant in Muara Bungo regency, Jambi province.

Banpu Indonesia director Pongsak Thongampai told Petromindo.Com recently that the study would commence next year.

Pongsak said coal supply for the panned power plant, would come from Banpu’s Mumpun Pandan mine.(alex)
