In Indonesia, Banpu operates three producing coalmines: Jorong (South Kalimantan), Indominco (East Kalimantan), and Kitadin (East Kalimantan). Last year, coal production form these fields reached 10 million tons. Meanwhile, another three coalmines (Trubaindo, Mumpun Pandan, and Barasentosa) are on exploration stage.

Banpu earlier said that it expected to produce around 20 million tons in 2006 together from its concessions. (robert)
