Banten Global, Australian investors plan power plant project

A company owned by the Banten provincial administration called Banten Global Development (BGD) plans to team up with a number of investors from Australia to develop a 3x450 MW gas-fired power plant, Antaranews said.
BGD on Monday signed a MoU with the Australia-Indonesia Business Council, which will select the would-be investors from Australia in the planned US$1.3 billion.
President Director of BGD, Sudibyo said that the power plant project will be located in Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province.
He added that BGD will also team up with an Indonesian investors in the project. (*)
