Bara Kumala resumes production

East Kalimantan coal miner, PT Bara Kumala Sakti (BKS) has resumed operation after the latest internal conflict in early January 2013, an industry source told Petromindo.com
The mine is expected to produce 100,000-150,000 tons per month this year, the source said, adding that Indian firm Archean Group still holds control of the concession.
BKS has sold around 70,000 tons of coal during January to trading firm Bara Indah, the source added.
The mine' coal has CV of 5,000 kcal/kg (GAR) and sulphur content of 1.4 percent.
