Baraka Energy seeks to set up JV or acquire coal concessions

ASX-listed miner Baraka Energy & Resources Limited said it is seeking to set up a joint venture with coal concession holders or acquire interest in coal concessions as part of the company?s move to expand into Indonesia.

?Although we prefer to establish joint venture with coal concession holders, acquisition option will also thoroughly be considered pending result of due diligence,? the company announced.

In addition, the company is also interested in providing financial assistance for coal concession projects with commercial viability.

?If concession holders prefer to maintain their full ownership, however need financial help from us for the development and sale of their product, we are ready to discuss the arrangement that will benefit both sides,? it said in a published announcement.
