Baramarta reports significantly higher H1 coal output

South Kalimantan coal miner PD Baramarta said on Friday its coal output reached 2.1 million tonnes in the first half of this year, increased significantly from last year's same period production of 1.41 million tonnes.

The official told Petromindo.Com that with the current weather, the company is confident to meet its revised target of 4-4.5 million tonnes of coal for this year.

The company?s coal output for last year reached 3.1 million tonnes, slightly increasing from the company?s revised target of 3.0 million tonnes.

Baramarta coal mine is located in Banjar regency, which is the third generation of CCoW holder produces coal with CV content of around 6,500 Kcal/kg. The company is still selling its coal at its stockpile to traders PT Prima Multi Minerals and PT Prima Multi Trada under long-term contracts that are renewed annually. The traders sell the coal to Asia Pacific market. (denny)
