Baramulti plans to double coal output in 2014

IDX-listed mining firm PT Baramulti Sukses Sarana Tbk (BSSR) aims to produce 8.5 million tons of coal in 2014, more than double compared to last year?s total output of 3.6 million tons, a company official told Petromindo.Com.
Out of the 8.5 million tons, its South Kalimantan coal mining unit PT Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM) is projected to produce around 7 million tons, and the remaining to come from BSSR mine in Loa Janan, Kutai Kartanegara regency, East Kalimantan.
AGM and BSSR are expected to produce 5.5 million tons and 300,000 tons of coal in 2013, from 3.5 million tons and 100,000 tons in 2012, respectively.
