Baramulti?s PMSS to start coal production

South Sumatra coal miner PT. Prima Mulia Sarana Sejahtera (PMSS), a coal unit of Baramulti Group plans to start commercial production in the end of this year with initial output of 50,000 tons per month, an industrial source told told Petromindo.Com
PMSS mine covering the area of 500 ha in Muara Enim regency produces coal with CV of 5800-6000 kcal/kg (ADB).
The mine is one of 6 coal concessions belonging to Baramulti Group in South Sumatra. The others are PT. Bumi Sekundang; PT. Batu Alam Selaras; PT. Inti Bumi Sukses; PT. Sumber Mineral Perdana and PT. Muara Alam Sejahtera.
The source said that the company planned to build railway infrastructure for its coal transportation.
