IDX-listed coal mining company PT Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk is set to realize a second phase coal supply totaling 1.2 million tons to IDX-listed power company PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk starting this year through next year.

Baramulti President Director Khoirudin told Petromindo.com recently that the company has already concluded the first-year coal supply of 500,000 tons to Cikarang.

?Shipment started in the middle of last year for the first-year supply,? he said, but did not provide further details.

Baramulti, which owns coal mines in South and East Kalimantan provinces, signed a five-year coal supply contract with Cikarang last year.

Cikarang operates a total of 1,144 MW of power plants in West Java Province. The company in September started operation of a second coal-fired power plant with capacity of 2x140 MW in Babelan, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province.
