Baramulti sets to increase 2012 coal production

The company?s official told Petromindo.Com that the company is planning to open two new coal mines in Kalimantan, making the company to produce coal from a total of 8 coal mines in East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan and South Sumatra.
The official did not give a breakdown figure and the names of the mines, but said that the company is focusing to produce more coal from its East and South Kalimantan mines, meanwhile from South Sumatra mine alone it is producing around 50,000-100,000 tonnes per month.
Petromindo data shows that Baramulti has several producing mines, namely: PT Mitrabara Adiperdana, PT Baradinamika Mudasukses both are located in Malinau, East Kalimantan, PT Baradinamika Sukses Sarana in Bulungan regency, East Kalimantan, and PT Sumber Karunia Buana and PT Antang Gunung Meratus, both are in South Kalimantan.
Earlier, Antang said that it plans to double its coal production to 4 million tonnes next year
The group has six other coal concessions in Sumatra. (denny)
