IDX-listed coal mining company PT Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk said its new concession in Loa Janan, East Kalimantan, is expected to start production in 2014.

?We have set a target for the concession to produce 700,000 tons next year. Land acquisition has yet to be completed. We expect it to be completed in December,? Director Eric Rahardja told Petromindo.com Wednesday.

Coal production of the company, which is part of the Baramulti Group, has mainly come from the Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM) concession, which is located in South Kalimantan. Production at this concession is estimated to reach 4.2 million tons in 2013.

Eric said that the AGM production in 2014 is projected to increase to 5.5 million tons. India, Thailand, and China will continue to be the company?s largest markets next year. He added that 25 percent of the company?s coal production is allocated for the domestic market.
