Baramulti unit completes infrastructure facilities as it seeks higher output

IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Baramuti Suksessarana Tbk said its subsidiary PT Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM), which operates coal mine in South Kalimantan, has completed construction of several key infrastructure facilities as the unit aims for higher production this year.
Baramulti said in a presentation materials Tuesday that the new infrastructure facilities will facilitate the transport of coal from pit to the port.
The completed infrastructure facilities included a 1,000 ton-per-hour crushing plant in Ida Manggala, a new conveyor belt in Sungai Putting, and one unit of MacGregor crane, and three units of Liebherr ranes in Sungai Putting.
Baramulti said this year AGM aims to increase coal production to 7.1 million tons from 6.7 million tons last year.
Aside from the coal mine in South Kalimantan, Baramulti also has coal mine in Loa Janan, East Kalimantan, which the company is expected to have higher production of 1.5 million tons this year, from 1.02 million tons last year.
