Baramutiara Prima allocates US$6 million to develop jetty, hauling road

Indonesia emerging coal mining company PT Baramutiara Prima has allocated US$ 6 million for capital expenditure in 2013 to finance the development of its coal mining business in Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra.

Sri Kuncoro Sardianto, Director of External Relations at PT Baramutiara Prima told Petromindo.com recently that most of the capex spendings are allocated for developing jetty facility with a loading capacity about 1,000 tons per hour at Sungai Lilin, and for developing hauling infrastructure.

Sri added that the hauling road from the site to the jetty location at Sungai Lilin is about 25 kilometer. The company is targeting to complete all the infrastructure projects this year in order to be ready to commence its coal maiden production in the first quarter 2014, which is expected to have about 600,000 tons per annum output.

The company has about 19,000 hectares of the concession with 5600 adb of coal CV.
