Barata develops fuel terminals

State-owned engineering and construction company PT Barata Indonesia has obtained contracts worth about Rp 1 trillion from state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina to develop a number of fuel oil terminals and a jet fuel refill depot.
Barata President Director Silmy Karim was quoted by kontan.co.id as saying Wednesday that the value of the contract may expand in the future.
He said the company has started construction of a fuel terminal in Tegal, Central Java worth Rp 280 billion. He added that fuel terminals also be developed in Sukabumi, West Java, and in eastern part of Indonesia. (*)
