Barata targets to complete PLTU Jeranjang unit 2 in 2017

Stated-owned engineering and construction company PT Barata Indonesia aims to complete the development of the unit 2 of PLTU Jeranjang coal fired power plant with capacity of 1x25 MW in Gerung District, Lombok Barat Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2017.

Tri Pangrukti SP, Public Relation Manager of Barata Indonesia told Petromindo.com recently that the progress of construction of unit 2 of PLTU Jeranjang has reached around 20 percent.

Meanwhile, for the PLTU?s unit 1 with capacity of 1x25 MW has been on stream since the first semester of this year. Tri revealed that the construction of the unit 1 took about three years to complete. ?As an EPC company PT Barata Indonesia develops all the construction of the power plant minus boiler and turbine,? she said.
