Barge accident at Tabang

SGX-listed Manhattan Resources Limited announced on Wednesday that it had been notified that one of the barges operated by the business group was involved in an accident during a transportation trip at Tabang, East Kalimantan on Nov. 6, 2013.

?Investigations are on-going and the financial impact can only be reliably determined at a later date,? the firm said in a statement without providing details.

Manhattan Resources engages in the ship chartering and provision of freight services, primarily for coal carrying activities; and leasing of mining equipment and machinery. It also provides agency, handling, and consultancy services; and coal mining ancillary services.
