Barito Kuala receives Rp500 million from S. Kalimantan coalminers

PT Adaro Indonesia and other coal producers in South Kalimantan on Monday donated Rp500 million (US$=Rp8,850) to Barito Kuala regency administration in compensation for their coal barges going through the Barito River, local daily Banjarmasin Post reported.
The fund would be included in Batola?s 2003 budget, the paper quoted as saying regent Eddy Sukarma.
Sukarma said they would soon outline special regulations on contributions from coalminers. (*)
