Barito's coal unit makes first shipment to India

PT Multi Jaya Energi (MJE), a subsidiary of Barito Group is making the first shipment of 60,000 tons of coal to India, an industrial source told Petromindo.
The loading process is currently taking place in Tarakan offshore and expected to be completed on September 15.
The coal has CV 5,900 (ADB) with total suphur of 2 percent.
The source declined to name the company's buyers in India.
MJE mine is located in Bulungan regency, East Kalimantan with the total concession of 9,085 ha. The pit is located about 7.5 kilometers to jetty port in Ancam River with the barge capacity of 270 feet.
