Bass sees field expansion opportunity in Tangai-Sukananti KSO

ASX-listed Bass Oil Ltd said that significant field expansion opportunity has been identified at Bunian West in the Tangai-Sukananti KSO, South Sumatra Province, as planned appraisal well to mature in calendar year 2018.

?Substantial quantity of oil reserves remain undeveloped, within the Bunian and Tangai fields,? the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Bass also said it aims to mature a low-risk drilling program to increase developed reserves base and accelerate future production

The company said Indonesia?s UNPAD has been engaged to conduct multi- disciplinary study to provide a re-assessment of the asset?s oil in place, reserve and resource potential.

Bass holds a 55 percent interest in the Tangai-Sukananti production assets, under a KSO valid until 2025.
