Australian-listed metal exploration firm Robust Resources Limited reported the assay results for drill hole LWDI9O confirmed the discovery of two zones of mineralization at the Batu Perak prospect on Romang Island .

The LWDI9O is the first hole drilled into Batu Perak, which is hosted within the large (6Km x 4Km) Lakuwahi Project caldera structure and mineralizing system on the southern part of Romang Island, located on the ?Ring of Fire? in eastern Indonesia .

It said that LWD19O has intersected an upper zone of mineralization rich in gold and silver:

Robust Managing Director Gary Lewis said ?It is rare in exploration for the very first drill hole in a new prospect to be so successful. It is a credit to our technical exploration team to produce such result and reaffirms the fact that Romang Island still remains a vast untapped project with significant exploration upside.

?The result also confirms the geological concepts that are being developed by the Company, combined with the successful application of the various exploration techniques and technologies available.

?It?s an exciting time for Robust as we continue to explore new targets, and this drill result further confirms the bounty we can expect from our exploration of Romang Island ? a truly remarkably mineralised island.

?Our exploration and development activities are continuing across the Company and we are well funded with strong cash reserves to continue to advance our portfolio of projects.?
