Batuah Energi seeking buyers

Coal miner PT Batuah Energi Prima, coal unit of PT Permata Resources is still seeking potential buyers for its low rank coal from Batuah mine in Kutai Kartanegara regency, East Kalimantan, sources told Petromindo.Com

The company which produced about 100,000 tons per month managed to sell part of its low CV coal to clients in India and China

Batuah's coal has CV around 3,400 kcal/kg (GAR) and total moisture 48%.

The coal will be delivered through 17-22 kilometers of hauling road to existing river port on Sanga-Sanga river. The jetty river can be entered by barge with a size of 230-300 feet.

The mine has a resource of around 100 million tons.
