Batubara Energi to produce 1 million tons this year

A coal miner PT Batubara Energi Indonesia targets to produce about 1 million tons of coal with CV around 5,300 kcal/kg (GAR) this year from its mine in Batang Hari, Jambi.
The company completed acquisition of the Jambi concession which has a total area of 1,050 hectares in November 2011.
"We are trying to stabilize the output at 1 million tons per year," the source told Petromindo.com.
The company is eyeing to acquire more concessions in East Kalimantan.
