Baturona in talks with Indian buyers for August delivery coal cargo

South Sumatra coal miner PT Baturona Adimulya is in talks with several Indian buyers to supply one panamax of coal for delivery in August, said a company official on Friday.
"We are talking with Adani Group, Coal & Oil, Gupta and Bhatia for the cargo. We will see who will give the best price," the official said.
It will be a one time shipment for spot sales, he added.
Baturona holds third generation Coal Contract of Works (CCoW) and owns a coal mine in Musi Banyuasin regency, South Sumatra.
Baturona started coal production in May 2009 but the volume was still small. It produces coal with heating value of 5,200kcal/kg (ADB) with TM varies from 30-50%.
Baturona is a coal unit of Alas Watu Utama (AWU) Group.(denny)
