Baturona seeks buyers for its S. Sumatra coal production

South Sumatra coal mining firm PT. Baturona Adimulya said it has started coal production in May 2009 and is looking for buyers for its coal.

?We have started production in May 2009, but only in small quantity, as we are still looking for buyers for our coal production,? Marketing Manager Dudu Badriansyah told Petromindo.Com on Friday.

Dudu said the company is ready to supply coal with the volume of up to 100,000 tonnes per month.

Baturona produces coal with CV of 5,200kcal/kg (ADB) with TM varies from 30-50%.

The company hauls its coal production through 40km road to Sungai Dawas Jetty and from there to Bangka Channel. The company?s jetty could serve 270 feet barges, he said.
