Baturona to start coal production Q2

S. Sumatra coal miner PT Baturona Adimulya will start coal production in April-May 2009 with initial production of 700,000 tonnes.
President Director Yusuf Anom Prakoso told Petromindo.Com on Tuesday that the company will increase production to 1MTPA the following year and 4MTPA in the fifth year.
Yusuf said the company will use 45-km haul road to transport coal to Sungai Calik jetty.
Yusuf said coal produced from the mine would be of low CV and would be sold to industrial customers in Java and Sumatra.
Baturona is a third generation CCoW holder, mining for coal in Musi Banyuasin regency. (denny)
