Bayan allowed resuming ops at E. Kalimantan mine

IDX-listed coal mining group PT.Bayan Resources Tbk has been cleared by the government to resume operations at its Teguh Sinar Abadi (TSA) mine in West Kitai, East Kalimantan.
Director General of Coal, Mineral and Geothermal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Bambang Setiawan said that TSA was allowed to resume production after it has submitted the revised fesibility study as ordered by the government.
TSA was ordered by the government to suspend production by government on March 20, 2009.
According to Bayan?s recent report, TSA and its other subsidiary PT.Firman Ketaun Perkasa will produce 1 million tons in 2009. (bernard)
