Bayan expecting 10 mt output in first semester

IDX-listed coal miner, Bayan Resources Tbk., is expecting to produce 8 million to 10 million tons of coal in the first half of 2012.
Jeanny Quantero, director of Bayan Resources told Petromindo.com that the company is expecting to raise its production target from 15 million tons in 2011 to 20 millions in 2012.
"Hopefully we can reach production of 8 million to 10 million tons in first half of 2012," she said without elaborating on the production of 1Q 2012 since it is still under auditing process.
Jeanny added that the company allocated US$ 200 million of capital expenditure which would be used for infrastructure development such as the capacity improvement of several jetties, hauling road, and the opening of new mines.
