Bayan net profit up more than five fold
Produces 12 Mt of coal in 2010

Indonesia-listed coal miner group PT Bayan Resources Tbk reported that its audited net profit reached Rp 740.8 billion (1US$ = Rp 8,715) in 2010, or more than five folds compared to the previous year's 136.28 billion.
The company said in statement on Wednesday that the company?s revenue also increased to Rp 8.74 trillion from Rp 7.75 trillion.
Bayan has eight coal mining subsidiaries in Kalimantan including PT Gunungbayan Pratama Coal, PT Perkasa Inakakerta, PT Wahana Baratama Mining, PT Teguh Sinar Abadi and PT Kaltim Supacoal.
The company is expecting to produce around 14.8 million tonnes of coal this year, higher than last year?s production of 12 million tonnes. (denny)
