Bayan, Ridho fields to come onstream end 2014

The Bayan-A project in Tarakan Offshore block, East Kalimantan and Ridho project in Karang Agung block in South Sumatera are scheduled to come onstream in the end of this year, according to a senior official of upstream authority SKK Migas.

"We hope, Bayan and Ridho projects will come onstream in the end of this year, although both production will be small," SKK Migas Operation Deputy Muliawan told Petromindo.com.

The agency reported earlier that the Bayan-A field will produce 15 mmscfd of gas and 250 bpd of oil, meanwhile the Ridho field will produce around 1,200 bpd of oil at first production.

Tarakan Offshore PSC which was awarded in 2003 is owned 100 percent by Manhattan Kalimantan Investment Pte (MKI), a unit of Singapore oil and gas firm Manhattan Resources Ltd. Karang Agung PSC which was awarded in 2007 is 100 percent owned by PT Odira Energy Karang Agung.
